In 1929 Blessed Solanus helped found the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit, Michigan.

Solanus Casey is credited with hundreds of miracles reaching people across the world. Including one that involved ice cream!

When Blessed Solanus passed, nearly 20,000 people attended his funeral.
